APEG/BVBO

The Professional Association of Security Firms (APEG/BVBO) is the only federation representing employers in the private security sector. APEG/BVBO promotes the interests of its members and the security sector in general. APEG/BVBO members account for more than 90% of the Belgian security market and employ more than 90% of the total number of security guards in the sector.

APEG/BVBO members account for more than 90% of the Belgian security market and also employ more than 90% of all security guards in the sector. APEG/BVBO promotes the sector’s interests and aims to improve its members’ position on the market by communicating the sector’s added value, taking legal action against unfair competition and encouraging quality-based recruitment procedures.

APEG/BVBO provides its members with specific services. APEG/BVBO manages the ongoing flow of invaluable information between its administrative department and members. APEG/BVBO also serves as a one-stop communication forum between members.

APEG/BVBO is the only federation representing employers in the security sector. It is the voice of its members in their interactions with the supervisory authority (Federal Public Service Home Affairs) and the trade unions in Joint Committee 317 on security and/or surveillance services.
