Yearly Day of Listed Companies

Tuesday 25 October 2021

Companies have always had to deal with and address activism. In addition to conventional forms of activism, such as shareholder activism, new forms of stakeholder activism have developed – with the battleground shifting from the annual general meeting to the courts.

Now, however, companies themselves are increasingly adopting activist stances, transcending the shareholder value paradigm and setting objectives that have an impact on society at large. In so doing, such companies are becoming drivers of social change.

With a view to exploring these developments, the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium and GUBERNA would like to invite you to the eighth Yearly Day of Listed Companies, which this year will focus on the topic of activism. Spend an afternoon with internationally renowned experts, who will share their vision of activism in 2021 and examine it from multiple angles.
