The member companies manufacture and supply a vast range of concrete products which share one common feature: the products are manufactured in a factory or workshop and are delivered in their final form to customers. They can be used to construct infrastructures and buildings and other applications.

FEBE represents its members in numerous bodies, including joint committees, both nationally and internationally, with a view to protecting the interests of the sector. It also provides advice on social legislation, compliance with standards, legal issues, and issues relating to communication and conditions of sale. The federation strives to achieve a balanced representation of the interests of business companies, employees, job-seekers, public authorities, trade unions and consumer associations. FEBE also holds meeting for specific product families to enable members to discuss their common interests. It publishes the Beton (Concrete) trade journal five times a year.
